Checking out foundationless frames

Nice frame material like the regular frames. Would have given 5 starts if the "paint stick" was a tighter fit in the groove. I had to wedge pieces of a bamboo stick to keep them in place. Bees are drawing comb nicely, so I plan to buy more, but might make my own starter strips rather than wedging in sticks.

Great foundationless frames

I have always used foundationless frames. Currently Foxhound Bee Co. is the only supplier I have found that still offers them at a reasonable price. They are excellent quality and the included wooden starter strips encourage my bees to draw comb that is nice and straight. I like the fact that the bottom bars do not have a slot in them to provide a hiding place for beetles. My frames arrived 2 days after my online order was placed.
