Great pants

These pants were super easy to make, very straightforward, and the sidewinding seam makes them interesting. I usually wear a 10, but I made the 12 per my measurements, and that was the correct size. I don’t wear my pants tight. I lengthened the rise by 2” to fit my body, an increase I always do for pants. I made the fold-up hem. The depth of the hem makes them the perfect regular length unfolded and a little jaunty at my ankle when I fold them. If I make them again, and I plan to, I will make the waistband about an inch narrower in height, a personal preference. I’ll be looking for more Sewing Revival patterns. Thanks!

SIDEWINDER PANTS

I made these over the weekend in a cotton/viscoe and they are really great, good fit and flattering. I have been looking for ages for a pant pattern with a flat front and these fit the bill. Easy to sew too. I am always surprised when things are easy and fit!! My only mistake was buying the medium combination instead of the Large. I will try upsizing it for a pair for my daughter.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pants pattern for a few years, and I think I have finally found it. These pants fit me perfectly (with no alterations, which is a miracle), they are super comfortable and stylish, and they are very quick to sew up. Iˋm about to start cutting out my second pair.
