Matcha

A little more mild than I prefer, but still really good! The price is much lower than others, and I feel just as good. My favorite is still the Ippodo ummon, but that is significantly more expensive. I'm definitely ordering this one again as it is perfect for a daily matcha. I do drink matcha daily (generally two a day), so this one is going to be put to excellent use!

I’ll be honest—I’ve never been much of a fan of matcha. I drink straight tea and don’t like the froufrou lattes they’re making out of tea these days. I’ve always found matcha to be bitter and harsh, but I’ve been WANTING to try to drink it more due to the health benefits. I bought this after having read many positive reviews saying it wasn’t bitter. I was doubtful of their claims and figured maybe they weren’t very sensitive to bitter taste, but decided to give it a try so I bought a container. I couldn’t believe it. It was NOTHING like my previous experience with matcha. Not bitter, mild grassy flavor and CREAMY (how is that possible?! I only put water and matcha). It’s absolutely luxurious and I’ve been obsessively drinking it. I now drink it more than any other tea and just bought a couple more containers.
