Great little light. Easy to install and the build feels pretty solid. If you're using this with a stereo microscope, the light is enough up to about 25x or 30x, but beyond that it's too dark (even on the brightest setting). If you need magnification above 30x, I'd suggest getting a fiber optic LED or halogen light source. The only downside to this light is the reflection of the LED array in reflective surfaces (like water drops). Overall this is a great, reliable and very easy to use light source. It's a good economical choice if you're just getting started with stereo microscopy and need a light source.
