A Classic

My partner routinely trounces me at this game and I still keep coming back for more, which I believe is high praise indeed. It's quick to learn, speedy to play, and will have you uttering the phrase "but what about one more game" very often. Perfect for competitive couples and those with a penchant for trading.

2 player fun

This is a beautiful game, where you go head to head, collecting resources and selling them - I like that it's played over 3 rounds which helps to mitigate the luck factor, however there is some luck of the draw - a good starting hand really helps!

Great 2 player!

We play a lot of games at 2 player level once small person has gone to bed, and do a lot of camping. So finding a great two player only game that’s in a small enough box to easily pack for a holiday, or just a trip to the pub, is always a win for us! Jaipur is one of these, and thankfully, is a great game too :) Since we’ve had it, it’s one of our go-to games if we have just played a long game, and want to play something else, but something light and not too time consuming. This is easy to learn, and usually plays out in 20-30 mins, so perfect when you want scratch the game itch but don’t have the time or inclination for a heavy session game. Not once has my husband won the camel token…I’m a camel hoarder now it seems :)
