Anti-Cat Trap

My cat likes to go places he should not. He triggered the trap twice and now totally avoids going near it. When a cat jumps on it it makes a loud slapping sound which I think scares the cat off from trying again.

This was perfect for the use required as I had been visited by a fox. The weight might be better presented if held by brackets rather than the 4 screws
