Universal Security Case Swivel Bracket - it rusts
We've had this for about 5 months now, supporting our trailcam on a tree, exposed to rain, sleet, snow. The GOOD: You can strap it (we use a metal locking strap) or screw it to a tree (screws come with it). It works well with our security box and the angle was easily adjusted at first. This allowed us to position our camera regardless of the treetrunk angle or camera height. The BAD: Yesterday while reseting the trsilcam, tried to shift the swivel bracket to a different angle, but the ball is rusted in place. I had noticed the screw between ball and security case rusting after only a few weeks outside, but the coated ball deemed to be ok and was easily moved. But now it won't budge, so we can no longer adjust our trailcam position. This was disappointing...we bought another of these brackets around Christmas for another trailcam but have not yet used it. Hesitant to do so now; maybe try slathering it with grease and see if that prolongs it's useful life. Why a product intended to be left outdoors year-round was made without rustproof parts is a puzzle. It was great initially, but as it became an immobile block of rust in just a few months, we cannot recommend this product for outdoor use.

Universal Swivel Security Bracket
I have what I think is the ideal setup. The combination of Camlocbox to house my Bushnell Essential E2, and swivel bracket allowing me to position the camera perfectly. I have come across other cameras in the woods with pieces of wood wedged behind the camera for proper aiming. The swivel bracket is really the 'cats meow', very pleased with mine and would highly recommend one.

Great Accessory
This bracket makes mounting and aiming cameras so simple. You don’t have to worry about your shim falling out just as you are securing your camera. You can even take practice photos to ensure the camera aimed correctly without worrying about ruining your setup. Very well made and engineered.
