Letter Tiles EXACTLY as I hoped they'd be!!
My husband got very creative and decided to glue the side (or top and bottom) edges of the letter tiles together and connect them using paint stir sticks (the ones they give you free at a paint or hardware store) on the back. This way, he was able to hang the finished "crosswords" altogether as one piece of art, using picture wire. This avoided many nail holes in the wall and the letters were lined up perfectly! Also, the use of the paint sticks allowed for a cool 3-D effect and makes for a much more visually interesting wall "statement". I couldn't be happier with the results!!!
