Lovely dress, could do with a few more instructions

Really easy dress to cut and make on the Overlocker. There are a couple of areas, where as a new garment maker, I struggled. Sewing the skirt to the top and ensuring the front ties are in and neat was very difficult, instructions, simply said sew the skirt to the top. The video was helpful but again, could have have a few more close ups of sewing the wrapover part.

It’s so cute! I used a bamboo spandex fabric that has a great stretch and beautiful drape. It will quickly become a work staple for me! The top wrap can easily be adjusted to be more or less deep of a v. There was only one or two small parts of confusion, of just how much over the overlaps needed to be caught in the seams for the top wrap, and trying to make sure only the right amount of wrap on the bottom was attached to the skirt, but besides that it was very straight forward and has clean hidden seams. I will likely make another, using a print fabric, and add pockets!

I have made the Wanda dress today to wear a my birthday lunch in a couple of weeks, it was such a great sew, made a size 16 with no changes to the pattern The directions were easy to follow and ended up being a very satisfying project. The fit is absolutely perfect and I can't wait to wear it. Thanks for such a fantastic Pattern!
