This colored mica is soft in tone but color-saturated enough to avoid being labeled "pastel". The purple is a medium hue with a reddish undertone. A medium shimmer makes this mica particularly beautiful in eye shadows.

Aster Hue was pretty pigmented but not as pigmented as I was hoping it would be in my bath bombs. I have not tried it in soaps yet but I will definitely review again in soap. I just would not recommend for bath bombs unless you want to use a LOT.
