The plob sound from the front spring in sharp turns are gone, steering is very smooth now

Nice upgrade

These mounts are a nice upgrade over stock and were not hard to install. Ben provided a diagram to show how they should be installed when using "Position 1". It is worth mentioning that the mounts will allow the stock springs to touch the upper strut tower and bind if not adjusted carefully. This is not a knock on the mounts just something to be aware of if you don't have coilovers. I did not notice any change in NVH after installing.

Great alternative to poor quality OEM mounts

I have had these on my 1985 244 for a week now with new Bilstein HD struts. These strut mounts look to be high quality and I expect them to last much longer than OEM rubber mounts. I also like that you can replace the bearings when they wear out instead of having to buy whole new assemblies. The only reason I am giving four stars is due to a lack of instructions. My mechanic installed them upside down the first time and told me that he had to look up a picture online to see how they should install.
