Works as great it shallow waters for holding my bote where I want to fish. Its sturdy and a good weight only complaint is the blue paint where off quick and flaked off on my bote.

Best piece of Kit yet
This is a must have for any ISUP fisherman. This sand spear locks my SUP into the sand on the flats flawlessly. I can anchor in and stay on the fish all day. I also use it for dual purpose. When I don't want to paddle, I use it like a tradition push pole to propel the boat by pushing off the sand in the shallow parts of the bay. This is probably the best item I have purchased for my BOTE fishing rig besides the actual boat.

Nice product
I love the functionality of the spear. It allows me to easily anchor when quick spotting reds.
