Beautiful packaging looked like old times and the pan is beautiful, even better than I imagined. Shipping took a little longer than expected because of postal problems, but the pan was definitely worth the wait.

I had been a carbon steel user for over a year now. I had proven that the hype about heat distribution, food flavor, and the lack of chemicals coming out of my pans are true. Now, Santa Barbara, in all honesty is at another level between the carbon steel manufacturers. These pans (I owned several) are the real deal. They are the closest to an art piece that you will get in your kitchen. They are not only well made, but they are made paying attention to the details. The handles are something that called my attention since the beginning. Those are NOT machine made, but hand forged, that makes a hell of a difference in terms of their looks. These pans looks so good that you probably could bring them directly to the table. Yes, I would recommend this company to my friends and I had. One more thing… these are going to last for a very long time… so in that sense Im please that at the end Im saving money.
