Roland Fantom-G Tutorial

Superb and pretty deep introduction to Fantom G!

I still own and use two Fantom G workstation. This series of videos and the series of tutorials you can still download from Rolands Support page helped me a lot to understand the many possibilities of this monster of a workstation. I "downgraded" from a Kronos 73 to a Fantom G6 in 2012, because the Roland philosophy of doing and organizing things is much more intuitive. It's still a complex synth and its hardware is not state of the art anymore, don't try to load 1GB of sample data, but you can do most projects you would otherwise use a Laptop for. Thanks to the videos you will make big leaps in understanding how everything fits together. Something you can't learn from Rolands own documentation that comes with the device. I hope the FG works another 10..20 years! Another good product to use together with it is Chickensystems Patch designer, which can convert many sample based patches into Roland FG format or send it directly to the FG. Very helpful!

Solid and informative tutorial!

David's presentation was easy to understand, informative and gives the viewer a thorough and detailed look into how the Fantom G functions. David's personality is also warm and engaging. Too many gear related tutorial videos come across as stoic, forgettable and mostly painful to watch. ProAudioEXP is 100% recommended!

A very andy and usefull video training

I was looking for a complete and handy training for my fantom g8 freshly bought ! Never disappointing! Unfortunately I can't find the same work for the ARX expansions !
