Very nice tea

Love the smell of the leaves when I open the bag, and the brewed tea is very enjoyable. No bitterness at all - smooth and sweet. I found it difficult to drink slowly - I craved every sip! I'm glad I stocked up on this one.

The most distinct feature of this Mountain Nectar Taiwanese black tea from Whispering Pines is the sweet honey notes that are present in this tea. Most of the times that I read tea vendor's tasting notes I consider them a bit of a creative stretch at best but this Taiwan black tea has a legit honey taste to it. I'd even go to the point to please give an advance warning to any vegans you share it with so they know that it is the natural tea flavor and not that you tricked them into eating honey.
