Excellent Value!
Most of the solar glasses in this box were individually wrapped, some were in packs and a few were loose. I was happy to see them back in stock after the spate of total solar eclipses in the last few years caused a shortage. Our Astronomy club uses them regularly with schools and at community events when we are looking at the Sun in telescopes. It doesn’t matter that some are imprinted with dates or parks and other locations. It makes them interesting for talking points. We bought 500, making the cost less than 35 cents each! How long has it been since we’ve seen eclipse glasses at that price?! These should last us a few years.

excellent glasses
We bought enough for the class and friends. Purchasing the Over-runs really helped the budget. thank you for offering them. We added the plate to prevent peek around. My kids LOVED IT and they were safe.

Works Great With One Little Complaint
These glasses are actually the same eclipse glasses as Rainbow Symphony’s regular stock, but with branding for random companies. Overstocked glasses so to speak. I ordered 500 and they were all branded for the same company vs multiple companies, which was nice. They do their job blocking out the sun and I love that Rainbow Symphony glasses are NASA approved for eclipse viewing. My complaint is about the fingerprints easily etching the lenses, permanently as far as I can tell. The tiniest touch creates prints that don’t come off. Almost like it’s a highly absorbent material, which is not what I’ve experienced with another NASA approved US based manufacturer. To try to remove the fingerprint, I used microfiber and gently rubbed and the fingerprint didn’t budge. Then I decided to rub vigorously, knowing I’d need to sacrifice the pair of glasses to test this. Even vigorous rubbing didn’t work. Then I tried a damp microfiber, and that didn’t work either. Again, the print was from the slightest touch with clean dry hands. I wouldn’t feel safe using any eclipse glasses that had prints on them because I’m not sure if that breaks down the protection. Other than that, if you can avoid touching the lenses, these will be perfect.
