Too small

I normally hold scissors all the time when tying, in my right hand with one finger ring on my ring finger. But these scissors were just too small to do that comfortable and I was often sticking myself with the tip/\. Yes they cut well, but not for me.

ERGO All Purpose Fly Tying Scissor Impressions

These replaced the earlier Micro Tip version that I had for several seasons. While the extremely long, fine tips of the originals made them very attractive for general trout fly tying, it left them vulnerable to wear from regular use. The new All Purpose scissors seem to have been improved by shortening the blades slightly and widening them, still maintaining a nice, fine tip for all around tying use. At the outset, they are nice and sharp, finely serrated which is important for such use, and very comfortable to use. Give me a year or two of regular use to see how they hold up, but my initial impression is that Loon may have fine tuned their design to improve longevity. They work very well at the outset and are very affordable at a time when fly tying scissors and other tools are being sold at absolutely insane prices. Certainly these would be a great choice for many fly tyers.
