Elastic Chap Inserts

So pleased to be able to continue wearing the chaps that became a little too small. They blend right in, give the perfect amount of space. I read somewhere that ordering shorter inserts would be better than getting something that was too long, so I did order shorter. They still worked great even though they don’t actually go all the way down the leg. Economical alternative to HH’s version. These are HH chaps. Very happy to have found them through this site. Thank you!

The expanders are of good strong quality strsatchy material and steong metal zipper. UNFORTUNATELY, I did NOT take into account that my chaps have Snaps at the end of the legs, as ars Motorcycle chaps Not horse ridding chaps. Therefore the zipper insert expanders are way to Long. So I am returning the ones I ordered to exchange for the correct size. I will submit another review with a picture when I receive the exchange size expander.

One side on each strip works without fault, however the opposing zipper does not line up with the insertion pin and bottom stop, as the insertion pin is too long and does not allow the extender key insert is too long and does not allow the slider to travel. The bottom stop has to be physically altered to accommodate the extender. Additionally, the opposite extender has to be mounted backwards where the slider is on the inside of the chap leg. Physically pulling this slider down is difficult as well as upwards. Not impressed with this product.
