Works perfectly. Used in fermenting my beer. Would never have known that the fermentation ended after 4 days without the Tilt. Connected to Brewfather for continuous updates

Works well

Should be calibrated before use (not a surprise). Bluetooth range is pretty adequate. It could transmit through my Spike conical to my phone, or through my fridge I use as a fern chamber... But not both together. To resolve that, I put an old phone inside the fern chamber and then that has enough wifi signal to post to the cloud. The app doesn't automatically keep your phone awake when in use. And it has to be the active app for data to log. That's the one downside. I'm planning on getting a Raspberry Pi Zero W to run Tilt Pi to replace my phone.

Fantastic In-Carboy Hydrometer

I have 2 of these hydrometer (one for each of my carboys), and they work so well for my needs. I repurposed an old phone to run the app on my counter top while my brew bubbles away in a cupboard so I can see how it’s going without even opening the cupboard. Everything just works and uploads to a google spreadsheet so I can look at a pretty graph of the temperature and specific gravity even when I’m away from the house.
