Great German Lebkuchen

Your German Lebkuchen cookies are outstanding! I am originally from Frankfurt am Main and have been looking for years for authentic gingerbread cookies. I enjoyed every cookie I ate. I gave some to nice neighbors, and one neighbor told me they were as good as her German grandmother's cookies from year ago. I am so glad I found your website and placed several orders. They were well packaged so none of them broke during shipment from Colorado to Florida! The last box I received I put into my freezer so I wouldn't eat them too quickly. Thank you for a great product that brings back memories from my childhood!

I wish there was another way to keep the lebkuchen from sticking together, other than the white edible "paper". I removed it, and ate it before I ate the lebkuchen. Even though it doesn't taste bad, it takes away from the taste of the cookie for me. The only reason I ate it, was because of the bits of lebkuchen stuck to it. 😋
