I have more decks of blue Monarchs than I'll ever need either for myself or to give as presents, yet I keep buying them. Even though I haven't forgotten the ones I have, each time I get more they still feel special. They are such a great reminder that beauty, when produced this perfectly, does not diminish regardless of quantity.

When playing cards to destroy an opponent and take his every last dollar, the cards to use are the absolute standard, unenhanced Bicycles or Bees. If playing for pleasure and enjoyment, Theory 11 Monarchs are ideal. They feel great in the hand, very deluxe. They are beautifully produced and feel special, even though they completely adhere to the rigors of correct simplicity. Few things that are always in available supply feel so luxurious.
