The Best QR Seat Clamp Out There!
I did a frame up Chromag Rootdown build in May 2025 through The Bike Shop in Calgary. I chose this seat post clamp to compliment the other Chromag parts I had purchased for the Rootdown. I really didn’t think much of it until I saw the quality of workmanship and discovered how great it works, it is a real nice part. I had to make no adjustments to the clamp at all last riding season, set and forget. I was having issues with the stock seat post clamp on my Rocky Mountain Blizzard Fat Bike, I could never get the clamp dialled in. My post would twist during rides, always at the most inopportune time. I would tighten the clamp and then my dropper would stall up and down, loosen it and post would twist again. I ordered another Chromag QR clamp and problem solved. No seat post twisting and dropper operates smoothly up and down, no stalling. The only QR seat post clamp I’ll use moving forward!
