Camera Doesn't Work

Thank you for asking about my HangarBot experience. Unfortunately, it has been terrible so far. I purchased the LynkGuard security camera and the electrical outlet controller. The electrical outlet works great, but the camera does not work. I have sent an email to your support, but no response yet after two full business days. I sent screen shots of the error messages I’m getting and I suspect the signal strength is inadequate for the camera. If so, the HangarBot is useless to me. Furthermore, I believe I was misled on the data plan. At Sun N Fun, I was told it was $10/month. No further discussion about the limitations of the data plan. I do not know, since the camera doesn’t work, how quickly the 25 MB/month will be used up. If I need a more expensive data plan to use the camera, even if the camera would work, then I would not want to keep the HangarBot. For $10/month, I would be happy, but for a more expensive plan, I would not. At this point, I think I would like to return the HangarBot.

- Setup was super easy (everything worked the way it was supposed to) - Installation at the hangar was super easy (everything worked the way it was supposed to + sim card connected in about 2 mins). I will give it a real world test next time I go flying. If it works as advertised (and as I expect) I will let the on-field AME know about the product and let him take a look at it. Assuming I am the first at CNY3 to use this, there may well be others who will be interested. The last product like this I tried, I could never get to work as advertised . . . installation of this was the opposite.

Remote outlet is a game changer!

Never make a trip to the hangar the night before to turn in engine heater again. Easy setup and your life is less hectic the day before a trip forever!
