I subscribe to the whole beans. It is a great cup of freshly ground coffee every morning.

Disappointed

Presentation (packaging) is nice, and I appreciate that you included a very nice measuring spoon. And I do appreciate your ministry around the world! The coffee itself is not what I expected. The beans are a very light color, and smell “grassy”. I don’t know how else to describe it; kind of like from a pasture and not a tree. It doesn’t taste like coffee. There isn’t any bad aftertaste, but the flavor itself doesn’t say “coffee”. I lived in Brazil for 16 years, and don’t remember any coffee tasting like this. I’m used to medium roast coffee, so the “strength” isn’t the issue. I have experimented with different amounts and grades of grinding, and it’s not helping. I usually drink my coffee black, but with this I’ve been adding a bit of cream to improve the taste. I will use the whole 1# package since the cost feels like a waste if I don’t. I’ll probably get another coffee that I’m familiar with and make a “blend” with this. Sorry, I really want to love this. I probably should have tried a different one from your selection, or chosen a variety pack.
