Could work well - but with a caveat
Your bricks MUST have a quarter-inch clearance between the edge of the brick and the mortar. I don’t know how it is in other locations - but an 1/8 of an inch is about all you will see - at least here in Illinois. And without that clearance - there is nothing for this device to attach to. Luckily where I needed to use mine was at the top of the wall where the brick met the soffits- so I was able to get a grip at the top and enough at the bottom for it to hold.

Finally a way to hang items above my fireplace
I haven't wanted to drill into the brick wall that houses my fireplace. No stick-on hangers worked. I am thrilled to discover DecoBrick holders. So far, perfect.
