This large swing picker from Bam Fiber Works has been wonderful. Assembly was easy; just a few bolts. The picker performs exactly as advertised and is simple to use. Communication with the team throughout the process was clear and accurate. I've used it on both fine and medium wool, and it handled both beautifully. I'd recommend this company without hesitation. One note: the teeth are sharp, as they should be for a picker, so handle with care!

Worth every penny and the wait

I own a pair of wool combs and a hackle from Bam and love them dearly, so when I was in the market for a swing picker I was excited to check out their offering. Baruch was amazing answering my questions and helping me understand the difference between his and the Pat Green Brother replica, and I went with the Bam because I knew just because it was cheaper didn't mean it wouldn't be as good if not better. I finally sat down to assemble it today and I cannot describe how excited I am to really dive into using it. I tested it on some highly compacted Tunis I'd had lying around that I'd struggled to process with hand cards or hand fluffing--what a difference! Two seconds and I had a beautiful clump of Tunis ready to go through the drum carder. I'm so excited to incorporate it into my wool processing routine, and I anticipate producing much more roving and yarn than I could before. I initially expected to receive it in June based on the timelines, but was thrilled to have it delivered just last week. Cannot thank you enough for powering through such a devastating setback and producing something that is still fabulous and beautiful.
