Great substitute for the scent of a fresh orange

In using spices with a simmer pot, I love purchasing in bulk from It's Delish. In opening the bottle, the fresh scent of orange is very pleasing and I have found can be substituted for a fresh orange in the recipe. Often I will use the mix a second day by adding more water and the orange will still stand in fragrance. This way I can smell my oranges and eat them too!
