Beautiful rug but off-gassing takes a long time

The rug looks beautiful, but we had to remove it shortly after placing it down due to the off-gassing. We kept the windows open in the room for a few days but it didn’t work, so we moved it into an open air sun porch. It’s been there for about a week and it is still not done off-gassing.
