Treasure Hunt!

Expensive for what you get.

This was a fun thing for my nine year old grandson but parts of it were lacking in interest. It was expensive for what you actually receive. Some of the weekly items were just disappointing. I expected more puzzles or hands on participation. There were many items that were just for reading and not that interesting to a nine year old. So further to that, I would not order the Treasure Hunt for a child with a lesser attention span. I did enjoy reviewing the letters and packages with my grandson but I would not spend that amount of money again on a Mail Order Mystery.

My grandsons loved it!!

I sent for the Pirate Mystery which came weekly for 6 weeks for my 6 and 8 years old grandsons. The 6 year old didn’t have that much interest in it after the first couple of weeks. (He is an “instant gratification” type personality. But I assure you, he was definitely there for the opening of the last communication! Lol) However, the 8 year old loved the mystery! My oldest grandson loved figuring out the cyphers, putting clues together to deduce who the bad guys were, and using his abstract thinking skills overall. Overall, it was a fun and exciting mystery for kids. We probably will do another one in the future. Thank you Mail Order Mystery for such a unique adventure!

Fun with Pirates

My 9-year-old granddaughter truly enjoyed the Treasure Hunt experience. She loved receiving the weekly items in the mail and was thrilled with the contents of the box of treasure at the end. I have ordered the Enchanted Slumber for her to receive over the summer break.
