Great Horn, Great Service
I've had this horn for about a month and a half now. I love it and as a new brass player, it's been fantastic to play on and learn on. Handed it to a friend who was in need of a flugel for a concert and did not have one, they absolutely loved it and I would seriously recommend this horn to anyone looking to either start brass or who has been playing for a while and is searching for a new instrument. Only complaint is that two of my valves were in the wrong spots out of the box, but a simple switch to the right valve slot fixed the problem and it plays great. The team at Jean Paul was quick to respond to my emails even though I had resolved the issue.

I bought a professional trumpet from your company and the valves where very smooth this Flujel horn valves are very stiff it takes away my speed because I have to press harder I been trying to break in but is not happening I been thinking of changing the springs and if doesn’t work I might have to returned

Nice instrument so far...
Have had the flugelhorn about 4 weeks. Not a lot of gig use yet, as it’s a secondary horn. Workmanship appears very good and solid. No buzzing loose braces. Lots of pro features, especially the 3rd slide trigger. Also appreciate the 3 water keys, which are nice and tight. It’s pretty free blowing with a nice, mellow tone. It’s got a good scale and plays in tune overall. Was not expecting springs in the bottom valve caps for an intermediate horn, but they get the job done. Valves are smooth, but still getting worked in for speed. It’s a little heavier than my Getzen Eterna, but it may just be the added weight of the 3rd slide trigger. So far, I’d recommend this instrument. Excellent price and customer service over the phone.
