Owning this and the Hard top, they each have their place. They are great pieces of equipment for all types of adventures. The Hard top version offers more stability for things resting on top than the original Table One. But if you want to make sure you drink doesn't get bumped while on the table, it offers a drink pocket to keep it where you left it.
