HP-8 Mini Block Plane

Perfect little plane!

First time ever (for me) that a plane from a high end source was sharp out of the box! The plane iron stays aligned as it’s advanced or retracted without tapping it left or right to keep it taking an even cut! No need for pesky “locking screws” to hold it aligned for a long session trimming a thickness to specs. Wish that I purchased this plane years ago. I didn’t know that there was something as simple and useful out there in tool land. Thank you Bridge City!
