Why I purchased the Audeze LCD-XC

I like the sound that I get from the Audeze LCD-XC, I use these headphones for listening to music.

I have not had these for very long. So I assume I will need to update this review in the future. But as of right now, these are the best headphones I have ever listen to. I paired these headphones with the Chord MOJO2 AMP/DAC as well as the AudioQuest Dragonfly Cobalt. These headphones work equally well with either of these two devices. And with their low power requirement, they might even work directly with my iPhone, without having to use any sort of DAC or AMP. But if you want to be able to listen to music, utilizing the true capabilities of these headphones, then you need to use an application to give high bit rate music files, as well as supports the use of an appropriate digital to analog converter. I am very impressed with the construction of these headphones, as well as the materials used. The presentation of the headphones inside the carrying case was very good, as was the presentation of the accessories that came with the headphones.
