Too small for Japanese quail

The cones are of very good sturdy construction and wash up extremely well but are too small for my Japanese quail. However u figured out a way to use them that does help greatly in the harvesting process and I’m pleased that I have them. T try hwy do assist in keeping the process much more hygienic for want of a better description. I think it’s a shame that as a society we are squeamish about the practicalities as sharing openly Would help many of us.

I purchased this quail processing cone along with a processing cone holder, but unfortunately the holder that's available will only fit the larger cones for chicken, so I came up with an idea to mount a couple of 2x4s onto a backboard and then mounted my cones to that using a bucket for a height reference. Processing time just got cut down!! 😃👍
