Sticky poles not holding the side rope

the sticky poles which are suppose to hold the rope to keep the playing field boundary at its place they don't stick and keep loosing the suction. hence its impossible to keep the floating ball on the table

The pegs do not stick on a wooden floor and the game just cannot be played without the strings attached to the peg
