It works ok, although the lock is stiff, and have to press the latch in hard to lock or unlock. However, not really a problem as this latch replaced a non locking latch, and we keep the other side locked as we have always done. I was very glad to get a replacement latch of the same kind, so I didn’t have to replace both, probably requiring new holes drilled. Shipping and customs to Canada doubled the price, more expensive than I expected. But all that is behind us now, and happy with the result.
