Reversible Scarf Knitting Pattern

Very unhappy. After describing how to knit and purl through front and back loops, the designer then stated, “In the pattern the terms (knit and purl) are used without specifying whether to work through the front or back loop.” Gee, thanks. There’s no way for me to know when to begin knitting or purling frim the back loops. That’s useless. Later it says, it’s important not to twist the stitches. Perfect. You set the knitter up for failure. Do better. I feel cheated because I really wanted to make this scarf, but the directions sre insufficient for me to do so. I paid for nothing.
