Amazing scent, but also a familiar scent I recognize from my younger years. WORLD CLASS.

The soap is really nice—slick and easy to lather. The scent is undefined for me. It is very, very subtle, unnoticeable.

Fantastic lather

I am generally opposed to shave soaps, because it is near impossible to find one that works for me. I tried Noble Otter based on a recommendation. The lather is fantastic, thick & rich. However, I find that it does not perform for me as I wished it did. As rich as it is, it does not provide the lubricity and cushioning I get from my homemade shave oil. This soap like almost all the others I've tried, I believe actually dull my razor blade. I can get as many as 12 shaves from a blade using my homemade oil. But with shave soaps, including this one, I cannot even get a week of shaves (3) before the shave soap dulls the blade. I really wished I could find a commercial shave soap that works well for me. But what I can say this is the best commercial shave soap I've tried. A friend of mine makes soaps, and they've developed a shave soap, the only shave soap I've ever tried that works for me. The quality of the lather is nowhere near the quality of the lather made from Noble Otter, But the quality of the shave approaches the quality of shave I get from my oils.
