Found the foot to run a bit big (length and width especially over the top of the foot)... kind of wish I had a size smaller. Ankle is nicely tapered and the leather is nice. I got the brown and it’s a lovely shade! Love the spur rests. I’m finding the snaps hard to undo and do up but hopefully they will get easier with time. The material on the inside of the boots is not leather and is supposed to be grippy but I found it really really slippery. I ended up getting it covered with some leather (leather worker did it for me) and I am finding them much more grippy, it really helped! Nothing worked on the other material (none of the grippy spray/balm helped, just made them more slippery). I rated them a 3.5 due to the too large foot size and material on the insides of the calf, and really stiff snaps.
