🐦 3D Beaded Pigeon PDF Pattern

I've done a lot of 2D bead work but this was my first foray into 3D bead work and I am really happy with how the pigeon turned out. It's a great pattern with clear diagrams and easy to follow instructions. Good for confident beginners! Note - I used 8lb fireline beading thread instead of 330 dtex nylon as I found it easier to create tension with the fireline. This is just a personal preference though! (Also - I needed ~2-2.5 metres of fireline to create the pigeon).

The pattern was super easy to follow, the diagrams in combination with the short explanations work really really well! I didn't have the nicest most evenly sized beads and the bead I had to use for the body was a bit too small but the little pigeon still turned out super cute and just a little bit wonky ^^

Great project, instructions were clear and rather easy to follow. I adjusted it a little in the beginning by inserting a head pin into my smaller bead and creating a little hanger, so the pigeon can be hung on a necklace :) It was a little more difficult to keep track with skipping beads at the end, but after all it was absolutely doable (even with me beading clockwise and choosing a different starting point ;) ) And what a fine pigeon!
