Nu Disco Inferno
Likely my most anticipated album of the decade and it’s another memorable stop along their interstellar, multi-dimensional and deeply nuanced Trans Canada Highway. These mysterious Scottish lads from the same Dad understand every album should be a unique sound and experience to its predecessor. Of course there are signature Boards calling-card moments scattered throughout Inferno, but this album takes their sound to unexpected new planets and goes harder in the paint than anything they’ve done to this point. An album for the times, indeed. I don’t expect we’ll get another album from BOC but this is a fitting goodbye.

The music is fantastic! The pressing on first listen is high quality. LP package is really amazing. A highly enjoyable album from one of the best artists out there.

Thirteen years of waiting, and Inferno makes every one of them worth it. More direct and darker than anything they’ve done before, but unmistakably BoC. The Transparent Red pressing sounds stunning — warm, detailed, full of depth. Arrived perfectly packaged. An easy five stars.
