This hot tub filter does a very good job of collecting dirt, hair, and other debris—almost too good. It traps everything so effectively that it actually ends up blocking the pump. The small holes in the filter gather all the debris, causing it to clog after just a few hours of use. As a result, the water flow is reduced and the filter needs to be cleaned very frequently.
