Short Tie Wrap

I always avoided the short tie wraps since my color consultant (12 years ago) recommended that the mid- cascade was best for my body type. Honestly, I always felt more comfortable with a longer wrap which provided coverage for my butt. However, 12 years later and 25 pounds lighter, the longer wraps just seem to provide too much fabric for my short frame so I’m a convert to the STW. My color preferences have also changed over the years and this summer, I indulged in lots of yellows. I’m a blue spring and yellow was never one of my 100% colors but it did present on me as “playful” and 100% for outerwear, hence the STW fills this void in my wardrobe yet, I now feel I can add yellow to my outfits and it just brightens me up, as is appropriate for my Spring coloring. Meanwhile, I did size up so it wouldn’t be too fitted or clingy. I’m only 5 ft and a “soft straight” so I never tie the wrap, letting it hang long to provide a longer appearance. I’m usually a U.S. 14 P and purchased a size 12, although my usual Kettlewell size 10, probably would have fit equally as well.

I love this wrap! It is perfect to pair with sleeveless dresses for arm coverage or chilly nights without adding extra bulk all over. I will be looking at this in more colors!
