360° Headlamp Kit

The flashlight snaps right in as you would expect. I like the way I am able to rotate the flashlight and adjust it depending on what I'm doing. The strap is very comfortable and easily adjusts. I am also looking forward to attaching the flashlight holder to other areas as needed. I really like the ability to use one product in a variety of ways. As with everything made or sold by Prometheus, it's top notch and well thought out.

Not too heavy

I like the headlight kit, I haven't really used the straps, just the Velcro on my hat or hardhat. My only complaint is that the pocket clip has to be removed from the flashlight. It seems a cutout could be made to fit the light with the clip on it. How do you carry the flashlight without a pocket clip?

Works great, offering hands free capability

I used the headlamp kit for the MKIII on a weekend camping trip and it worked great. It took a bit of getting used to having to turn the bezel instead of clicking a button, but once I got the habit down there were no issues. Headband fits like a glove, although I admit I wore it around a ballcap or a watch cap all weekend and not my actual bare head. One thing; I had to adjust my modes for just low and high as it became cumbersome to twist through all the modes. The magnet is tight and sticks well inside the mount. No wobbling around at all that i could tell. All in all, this setup was a good idea and it worked great for me. Will continue to use.
