I picked up a "blacksmith's helper" kit from the good folks over at Ken's Custom Iron and I have to say it was very much money well spent. 99% of the time I would rather make something than buy it but the kit from Ken's turned a days worth of fabrication into maybe twenty minutes of marking, drilling and riveting and the final product is just dang near perfect.
