ECM Classika PID w/flow control.

After an ill fated adventure with another brand’s new model, I bought the ECM largely on reviews and WLL’s suggestion. The machine suits my needs perfectly. It is consistent and reliable. Temperature control is very accurate and stable, grouphead produces a beautiful shower like flow, flow control is responsive and widely adjustable. Overall build quality is fantastic. And the best part … it produces a great coffee as far as your skill and your choice of beans will allow. I haven’t tried the milk frother yet, as I don’t make milk drinks often. I am very happy with this machine and grateful to WLL’s Steve J for his guidance and professionalism throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend both to anyone looking for that perfect shot of espresso.

New Prized Possession

Tank of a machine that makes café quality espresso when paired with an equal quality grinder. It did come with a pretty significant scratch on the very front panel, though, which was disappointing. Not worth the hassle of sending back, but it bothers me slightly.

Just excellent

Did a lot of research before going with the Classika. It fit all my needs for a high quality E61 machine with excellent build quality. I like how the power cable comes out from underneath the machine so it saves a previous couple inches in the back. The machine is solid and fit and finishing is top notch. Shots pulled have been consistent and machine warms up to temp in about 20 minutes. Only thing you would need to get used to is flushing of the steam wand for steaming after brewing and refilling of the boiler after steaming, but once you get these couple steps into your workflow, it is not an issue. It’s just the way single boiler machines are. It’s been my new best gadget in the kitchen and hope to be enjoying it for years to come. I already have too many beans in the freezer that I will be exploring with this!
