Good little gizmo/

I bought 2 of them, liked them so much I bought 3 more. There are a lot of tools packed into this guy. You can pretty much see everything from the picture. 5/5 compasses worked. Thermometers this size tend to be off 2-5 degrees, and these are no exceptions. But they are consistent, and in line with every other small thermometer that isn't in a laboratory. A few nice surprises the pictures don't tell you: 1) the size is about the same as a dog tag. 2) the plastic is a heavier grade and tougher than I was expecting 3) the compass is luminous And one small downer: 1) the resonating chamber of the whistle (the part with the sun logo) is raised up a bit, somewhat like a chimney. Physically, whistles need a chamber, this one just goes "up". The downside to this is that if you plan on wearing this like a dog tag behind other tags, it will hang at an odd angle. For all other uses, including it worn in front of other dog tags, the chimney is not big enough to bother you.
