A mixed bag

I was shocked and disappointed by the thermometer portion of this. I expect liquid thermometers to be accurate, because any given substance expands and contracts at a certain rate with temperature changes. However, this one consistently reads about 4 degrees too high. However, the compass portion of this works well; that's the only reason I'm giving it as high as 3 stars. Otherwise it would deserve 0.

This item is somewhat problematic due to the position of the gate. The thermometer and compass seem to work well. (The thermometer fell out of its setting where I wore it on the shoulder strap of my backpack. I contacted Sun Company about it, and they promptly sent me a replacement)
