The table is as beautiful as it appears on the website. It arrived soon after I ordered it. It was shipped in a particleboard box that was built around it for protection. The table top nevertheless arrived with a split along a grain line. I let Batten Home know right away, and after seeing the pictures I took of the package as shipped and the damage, they sent me another table. The replacement arrived only about two or three days later. Customer Support was amazingly responsive. Now I just have to figure a way to stabilize the table so it will sit firmly on my rug. ( I have the same concern with a floor lamp from another vendor. It also has a cylindrical base with a circumference that’s smaller than the shade that sits at the top. I haven’t checked yet with Batten Home to see whether they have a suggestion.)
