Very useful tool to have for testing some audio plugins before buying. I beta test for a few companies and Plugin Doctor can help me identify issues so the developer can rectify prior to official release.

Do I need it? Probably not, but its great to really understand what your plugins do behind scenes

Eye opening analysis of the EQ and saturation impact of plugins. While the ears still decide, knowing the likely impact before twiddling takes a lot of guesswork out and makes for much more efficient work.
